Slightly elevated cholesterol, will Cardio-C conflict w/sups

Post by ofonorow » Mon Sep 24, 2012 7:41 am

I take Alive Ultra Multivitamin for Women. I also take CoQ10 and Krill oil daily. My question is: can I take Cardio-C with the supplements I currently take safely? My cholesterol is 246--this concerns me greatly.
Thank you,
Shannon

There doesn't appear to be any conflict between what you are currently taking and the
Vitamin C, Lysine and proline in Cardio-C.

I would not worry too much about the 246 cholesterol, however, as you increase your vitamin C intake, you will notice that your total cholesterol, over time, will go down and approach 180 mg/dl.
