The PATIENT(A GOOD FRIEND), has had the debilitating disease for years...He is 6'2 and down to about 135 lbs,,,,It's hit just about everywhere, except major organs...He has had numerous toes and fingers amputated, and now has swallowing issues...Would Othomol drugs helps? And which ones in particular at what dosages...Thanks!

An orthomolecular report shows oral Vitamin D3(1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol) helps scleroderma considerably. Also the incidence of scleroderma and other autoimmune disease increases the further away from the equator one is. Therefore Vit D makes sense. However the Vitamin D must be able to activate in the Kidney in order to lower the autoimmune response. This activation will be blocked/reduced if you are eating calcium foods(dairy), animal proteins and grains.
