I am very impressed with the Pauling protocol however the graph started turning down about 20 years before Pauling recommended Vit C for the common cold.

What happened in the 1950's that peaked and then dropped heart disease. For one the stress from the Depression and a couple of World Wars was dialed down to near zero and prosperity set in. It will be interesting to see if the heart attack rate climbs over the next coming decade since we are just about to the end of 8 very stressful years for many Americans. Is stress a factor? Is that the French Paradox?
