Good afternoon. I am experiencing bloating after taking vitamin c and was wondering if taking liposomal would alleviate this. If so, how much should be taken as liposomal and how much not? Does taking it liposomal give the same results?

Would you mind explaining what the symptoms are exactly? Gas? Swelling? (Swelling is an unusual symptom for vitamin C).

bloated feeling in stomach which I am assuming is gas. I have gastritis but, it was generally asymptomatic before. Are there any foods that are particularly good or bad to eat to help/ease the vitamin c consumption? And, the liposomal question.

Gas is a common symptom and the author Sherry Lewin (Vitamin C: Its Biology and Medical Potential) wrote that she used charcoal to minimize the digestive gas. You can find activated charcoal at Amazon.

Liposomal may help, you can try it and see (as more is absorbed so there should be less to cause gas). Unknown how much liposomal can replace the ordinary ascorbic acid powder treating heart disease a la Pauling's recommendations.

Excuse my ignorance. Isnt liposomal ascorbic acid with a wrapper?

Usually it is sodium ascorbate encapsulated in nanometer sized lipid bubbles.
