My lp(a) value decreased continuously from February 2018 to February 2019. From 164 nmol to 132. And then in June 2019 it abruptly increased to more than 200 nmol. Actually 218 nmol. For no apparent reason. Therefore I asked the laboratory whether the measuring technique had possibly been changed at this time. If I get the answer, I will report.

I heard about corona on the tv news in Germany yesterday:

French hoard red wine,
Dutch hoard chips,
and German hoard toilet paper.

I think, that was a joke. But they really hoard toilet paper.
What, if they knew that vitamin C is a vital weapon against corona? Vitamin C sold out for sure.

Dr. Kucher from Schottdorf laboratory in Germany answered:
We are now working at the limits of our capacity (due corona). The test for lp(a) has not been changed. I also have no real explanation for what caused the high increase in value.

Is there anyone in the forum with an idea?

Still there. Probably just a momentary weakness of the server. https://www.deepl.com/translator is an excellent translation service for English/German.

An interesting report by Paul Taylor. Not only for corona.

I take 660 mg Q10 (as ubichinon) daily, by the way.

Corona - I can hear it no longer. But an interesting article by Dr. Joseph Mercola about vitamins C and D, also for heart disease.
