I would like to share some positive experiences that I have had with bowel tolerance levels of Vitamin C.
In September and October 2005, I was in the fourth and fifth month of interferon treatment for my hepatitis C. I was unable to sleep well because my mind was constantly busy, and I needed the radio or television on to block out my mental garbage. I had to stay in bed 2 days a week because fatigue and mild flu like symptoms I also had a bad productive cough, skin rash, rapid heart rate, and signs of congestive heart. I lost 30 lbs, my hair was falling out and I out I looked like hell. Then in the middle of October, I increased my oral vitamin C to 15 to 20 grams a day. I got some mild relief, but still had some severe symptoms from the hepatitis medication. Then in November, I up the Vitamin C level to bowel tolerance, which I believe, was the major reason why all of my symptoms significantly cleared up. I mean I didn’t know how to react because I had been so out or sorts for so long. I could sleep; I could breathe; my heart rate returned to normal; my energy level was above normal; I started gaining weight; my skin improved, joints started loosing up, my teeth and gums improved, the TMJ disappeared. There were no more layers of hair on my pillow, and there was hope and a newfound life for me.
Since that time, I continue to take bowel tolerance levels of vitamin C along with my interferon treatment. I have a couple more weeks of treatment and my doctor says I am responding well. My liver panel is normal, and all other vital blood test is within the normal therapeutic levels for someone on interferon. Mainly I avoided iron-enhancing injections. Also my cholesterol level dropped from 270 to 203 . I’d share my viral count but I am a little un sure of the numbers but I can say my doctor was very pleased with the results. I would like to thank this forum and the website for allowing me to explore and experience a positive outcome with bowel tolerance levels of vitamin c. I would also like the thank the forum for introducing to me lypo-spheric vitamin C .
