Gallium Compounds for retroviruses!

This subject stems from the "Gallium" section in Dr. Jerry Tennant's HEALING IS VOLTAGE book, (around page 398), citing the work of George Eby.

These compounds are presented as anti-microbial (anti-biotics) but this paper implies they can work against HIV - a retrovirus.

Might be profound knowledge w/r to the current pandemic, but the question is, how to find and obtain the proper form of Gallium? I think "Gallite" is a tradename. If anyone has any luck finding a source, please post.
