Could you link to the actual study?
3x times less could come just from observational data with absolutely no proof of causality. Or it could mean 3 in a 100 died on a vegetarian diet, while 1 in a 100 only on a carnifore. How long did they study it? All-cause mortality? - Without giving us those specifics too its most likely the only study you base your 1-size-fits-all recommentation is really meaningless to any other knowing to verify studies.
