After having successfully performed gene silencing (for Lp(a) etc.) on my patients with various disorders at a high risk, thought why not do it on myself.
I performed a partial, 4 days back and sent blood sample for testing this am.

1. Am not on any supplements.
2. At this moment I don't have the medical automated counter to check in nmol/L, at my Research facility.
3. Have a unhealthy life style and wasn't expecting such results. i.e. Lp(a) approx. 17.5 nmol/L, this Roche doesn't give a value less than 7 mg/dL, and APO-B 90.5 mg/dL/0.9 gm/L.
4. Years back, when I got my Lipid panel tested, used to break all rules i.e. never gave the blood in a fasting state but after a oily meal and were always well within limits, repeated the same today after breakfast.
5. Plan repeating after 2 weeks, with further silencing and this time on an empty stomach, since I want APO-B to be around 0.6 gms/L.

Enjoy viewing and read..
