Right, but I'm not talking about taking the IV in the kitchen. I am talking about if the powder was exposed to normal air while mixing it into sterile water for the IV. Big difference.
I'm not concerned about where I am when the drip is hooked up, I'm concerned that if the iv solution was prepared in a non-sterile environment, i.e. powder jar opened and put into the vial in a non-sterile environment, does that pose a major risk?
I think we need to be very careful about what we say "no, that's fine" to on here without understanding fully the situation.
Are you saying you mix your own IVC in the kitchen, or that you have some bioniche or other pre-prepared vial that you administer in the kitchen. Those are two very different things.
