There has been a flood of commercials for one of these products lately, making me curious how valuable these capsules might be. I've wanted to ask the Medical Medium source if these products can substitute for the recommended fruits and vegetables.
The answer is in the 1000-page Brain book. And the answer is no.

4.2 Fruit and Vegetable Powders
Fruits and vegetable powder supplements are the result of taking a few specks of dehydrated or freeze-dried fruits and vegetables, compiling dozens of different types into a capsule, and thinking that offers a better benefit than consuming fresh fruits and vegetables. One whole radish, orange or tomato on its own will offer more nutrition than a mixed fruit and vegetable capsule or powder -- because the whole radish, orange, or tomato will contain more phytochemical compounds, nutrients, living water, and antioxidants than a gram or two of dehydrated or freeze-dried fruit and vegetable powder. In order for a capsule or powder of a fruit or vegetable to offer a benefit, one item needs to be the focus, not a mix, and preferably that capsule or powder should be made from a wild, close -to-wild, or highly nutritional food.
