Pretty awesome, gotta get on the ginger would be good for all those kids with mysterious liver disease at the moment. Sanscrit ginger is supposedly called "vishwabesaj" or "universal medicine." Plus its pretty cheap for the fresh root.

it is awesome, and it reminded me of the fact that Dr. Levy long ago wrote about vitamin C's ability to do similar things, especially Intravenous Vitamin C (as in his books CURING THE INCURABLE, Vitamin C, Infectious Diseases and Toxins.)

The advantage of ginger is that it is cheap and can be taken orally, most studies used a teaspoon (or tablespoon) and the lever enzymes normalize in 30 days.

And how many people with an acute poisoning can find a doctor to do IV/C?
So any information you can dig up Blargus, especially on dosages, would be appreciated... Inquiring minds, who may be developing new products, want to know.

Looking at a couple of books on ginger intersting things paraphrasing authors work from the book:

Ginger "carries" ither remedies into the body aiding their absorbtion and distribution through the body

Ginger in ayurveda uncreases agni (fire) which reduces and destroys toxins in the body

Oriental medicine uses doses of dry ginger 3 grams minimum 10 grams maximum per day. This is higher than what is used for home treatment in the west (about 1 gram max 4 times a day).

I wonder if ginger powder+ vitamin C increases absorbable/utilized C? I read once also that Ginger at mealtimes increases the nutrition you get from the food you eat.
