Chuck, I have the same issue as you on certain work days with having easy access to C. I prefer to take my C many times per day at lower doses but the powder is not practical for me during the day. I do powder in the morning, evening and and at night but do pills at lunch. I even keep extra in case I won't make it home for evenings!
This is the best brand I can find with the fewest fillers and its not made in China. The price is comparable to other brands and not bad if you are only taking 2 to 4 per day like me.

Amazon has a better price especially if you subscribe...$8.92.
