Starting Pauling therapy with DES stent

Post by ofonorow » Thu May 25, 2023 2:44 pm

Hello Owen.

I had a heart attack almost 3 years ago. Was given a DES for a 95% blockage. I also had 2- 60% and 1- 30% blockages . Was put on various heart meds as well as statins. I decided to quit taking the statins about 3 months ago. 2-3 weeks ago I came across a post which mentioned the Pauling therapy. So after some research I ordered your book- Practicing Medicine without a license. After reading it I went to our local supplement store and purchased Medi C plus with magnesium, Proline, Vit E and Vit K2 . So this is day 4 of starting the Pauling Therapy. Thank-you, and I am hoping it will work for me despite the DES I received.
Regards

Please keep us informed on your progress. The DES stent makes it more imperative that your dosage of vitamin C and other antioxidants (e.g. vitamins A and E) are high. Resist advice to stop vitamin C and vitamin E, it is always misguided. If Dr. Levy's theory in his book MAGNESIUM: Healing Disease is on the mark, then magnesium will also help in your endeavors to detoxify your DES. I suspect that Magnesium Chloride might be a very good form for you to take until the DES stops emitting drugs.

It does seem to work fast in some people, so one theory about the loose stools is that you requirement for vitamin C was reduced. Maybe reduce to 6000mg ascorbic acid and see if that helps with the loose stools? Let us know. The proline seems a little high, otherwise looks like a great protocol Coq10 isn't a bad idea. Keep us informed whether a smaller vitamin C dosage helps with your loose stools. (And there is always a True Liposomal tht can replace some of the ascorbic acid.)

So here we are 4 months into the Pauline Therapy. I've since added Vit A, Conzyme Q10 with some Omegas and Vit B complex. I reduced the proline to 500 mg/day and the ascorbic Vit C to 6 grams/day. Bowel tolerance varies from day to day, but I can live with it as I don't want to reduce the Vit C to less than 6 grams/day. Lately my urine has sometimes become very bright yellow, which I've heard is normal from Vit B. Have not seen any doctors while on the protocol. The only thing different in my health is kidney stone type pain in my left kidney occasionally. I recently (6 months ago) had 2 stones blasted in that kidney and last x-ray showed it clear. I have one 2mm stone left in the right kidney.
I was wondering about what interval I should be taking the lysine/Vit C. I make sure there is at least 2 hours between doses. I did also pickup some liposamal Vit C but only take it occasionally.

First off- wondering why I can’t see my previous posts, and there was no response from the last one. So it’s been over a year since starting the Pauline therapy. I was not able to get a doctor to do a calcium heart scan because I am not following their recommendations RE - I quit taking the Statins. My doctor was concerned as my ldl cholesterol was high, but I was able to convince him to order a lipoprotein a test. The result was 68.0 nmol/L. Which my doctor said was normal. Reference range 0.0-100.0 As to date I am taking 6000mg ascorbate with 3900mg lysine and 630mg magnesium ( Medi C plus) In addition I am taking a n 8- forms of Vit E, Prolein,Vit A, Vit D, Zinc, Vit K2, some Cayane pepper and just recently started on Colloidal silver. My doctor says after my last full physical in July that’s he’s never seen me in better shape. I don’t feel much different than a year ago, but have not been sick, and my weight remains the same at 165-168 lbs. I’m 62 have a history of many kidney stones. some gall stones, and am now considering taking tudca for bile health and liver health. I’m still on Ramapril, Metoprolol,Synthroid, and Rivaroxaban ( I had a pulmonary embolism 5 years ago and family history of blood clots) . Thinking about whether I should get off the Ramapril and Metoprolol ?( history of A-Fib and have a lower right bundle branch block) So much to consider and so many options when it comes to one’s health! Sometimes it’s overwhelming!

you are right all of this heart and vascular problems can be overwhelming ..I have been on the Pauling therapy for 10 years now and I am 79..my biggest problem is superior mesenteric narrowing and its now past 70% so going to get a second opinion as my vascular surgeon does not want to put a stent in ..or do a balloon angioplasty..so want to get it taken care of as it effects my stomach not getting enough blood. I am not on a lot of meds.lisinipril cholesterol is really good so no statins..I am also have a stress test on the 13 of aug..
I will post the results when all the tests are in and when I get a second opinion.
hope you are feeling better and good news that your doctor thinks you are doing good.

Joanna,
Maybe its time to revisit your case?
I have learned that without glucose (insulin) nutrients are not absorbed by the human body.
Many people are on low-carb diets, which can be counterproductive; there is little glucose, and the high-fat content in the blood can block glucose (and vitamin C) from getting into cells. The first post in this section has become a paper that describes this new knowledge.

You may want to try our new Cardio-C XM ?

We'd be willing to offer a complimentary jar to see whether you benefit.
