A new British study has shown that consuming large amounts of vitamin C through food can reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

In the study conducted on middle-aged men and women, it was shown that people with higher levels of vitamin C in their blood were much less at risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

In the 12-year period that the study lasted, only 3.2% of the 22.000 study participants who had high amounts of vitamin C in their blood developed diabetes. https://telegrafi.com/en/Vitamin-C-redu ... -diabetes/

Yes, but it says through food. We don't know if you would get the same effect from supplementing ascorbic acid or ascorbates. They looked at blood levels of one variable.

This came out yesterday. Same results, doesn't look like the same study.
