Dr. Cowan is a brilliant biochemist who has become a disciple of "its all sunlight" Dr. Jack Kruse. Kruse is a neurosurgeon whose TEDx talk was banned, after he lost over 150 lbs from understanding how to use sunlight correctly for this purpose. (Big Pharma at that time was about to come out with the weight loss drugs.) Kruse podcasts dig deep. Jack understand which molecules in the human body are semi-conductors, and how our body produces LED light (in the mitochondria and DNA) and how our cells obtains and reflects sunlight via melaninytes. Kruse believes that fundamentally, biology is based on light.
This podcast covers a wide range of topics, including the various frequencies of sunlight, nicotine, deuterium depleted water, grounding, and how these topics affect us given that light shapes life, and that the mitochondria is the battery that powers cells. . Dr. Cowan does not go quite so deep and her explanations are concise and clear. e.g. why the red light in sunlight is only present early in the morning (and later in the afternoon). That clouds do not block beneficial light, and that sitting among green grass and foliage (which doesn't absorb various beneficial light frequencies) will reflect such light and bathe the body in beneficial light. She explains how we "feed" on electrons. Under this paradigm, electrons are our primary food, meaning sunlight and grounding provide food (electrons!)!.
Both Kruse and Cowan agree that while most us us blame the problem of obesity and chronic disease on food, they believe that the root of the problem lies in unnatural light. They explain that many adverse health conditions can be rectified by reducing or eliminating artificial light (especially blue light at times other than high noon) and seeking out the healing and apparently stem-cell supporting red and near infrared light.
Dr. Kruse routinely uses Red Light during his surgeries along with IVs of Methylene Blue.
Some of the ideas may sound crazy to the uninitiated, e.g. that people only sunburn if they wear sunglasses!, but such claims should be easy to verify.
She also tells the truth that melanoma is known to form when people lack sunlight, not from too much sunlight.
The discussion is not perfect. The interviewer and interviewee are in the camp that believes that ketones provide energy, while it has become obvious to me that ketones are the result of incomplete fat burning, like smoke from a fire. Danny Jones fasting experience - adding maple syrup - is fascinating, knowing what we now know about glucose (Thank you Anthony William)
The problem with all these wonderful Kruse-isk LIGHT podcasts is the Elephant in the room. They don't seem to know about the GULO defect that keeps we humans from making our own vitamin C. Such knowledge would immediately solve the number one killer, and make a serious dent in the number two killer (Cancer).
