Can I bring your Vitamin C to the hospital.

Can products be used by someone who is in a hospital setting or would it be better to use at home.

Unfortunately, "can" and "should" are two different things.

It is a shame. Vitamin C cannot be used in hospital settings, other than perhaps the measly RDA, and then only upon request. Hospitals tightly control what their patients are allowed to consume, and most hospital pharmacies don't have vitamin C as an offering. (I am not suggesting that you do this, but in my case, my wife secretly brought my vitamin C to the hospital for me. This fact was not shared with the nurses or staff.)

In the one case where they were unable to improve my condition, my primary care physician acquiesced to my wishes and ordered IV vitamin C for me. This MD was let go from her practice a few months later.

So the answer is definitely high-dose vitamin C is something you want to take at home.
